Over 200 retailers from across the south of England have gathered at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) in Swindon to witness the big reveal of Ultraframe’s Ultraroof380 at the UK’s largest permanent exhibition targeting home improvers.

Showcased at the recent FIT Show, Ultraroof380 is a lightweight tiled roof which can incorporate large areas of rectangular glazing in the same way as the award-winning Livinroof. Weighing only 38kg/m2 including the tile, Ultraroof380 uses only three main components making it fast and simple to install – watertight in under six hours.

Further enhanced by the use of the most authentic engineered slate tile on the market, Ultraroof380 is seeing significant interest since its preview at FIT, Steve McIntyre, Ultraframe marketing director wasn’t surprised by the turn out at this week’s event, he explains: “Ultraroof380 gives our network partners a confident foothold in the replacement roof market – our consumer insights programme was critical in the development of the UltraTile – which, without question overcomes the aesthetic challenges of other roof systems. This roof has maximum appeal, there’s no room in this market for anything but the realistic look of a slate tile. So that’s what we’ve developed.”

To celebrate the launch of Ultraroof380 at the NSBRC, Ultraframe gave away five Ultraroof380 roofs, the lucky winners included Karl Wilcock, SIG Windows; Sarah Byrne, Conservatory Eco Roofs; George Stone, Mendip Conservatories; Jason Jenkins, Secura Home Swansea; Stuart Jones, Paxtons.
