PVCaware is revamped
Online resource PVCaware.org has been re-designed and re-launched by the British Plastics Federation (BPF) at Ecobuild, in a move to become the expert information centre for those buying PVC-U windows. With information presented in what is described as ‘at-a-glance’ formats with the option to download more if required, the aim is to make the site easy to use for those looking for quick or more in depth answers, in order to appeal to both consumer and specifier markets.
BPF Windows marketing committee chairman, Jon Skinner, said: “The first site did an excellent job of rallying industry support for the campaign. Now, we can take the campaign to end-users. We have therefore adapted the website to do that and have revised display materials and the marketing plan accordingly.”
The site is a central part of an effort by the Federation to provide accurate advice on PVC-U windows in one place for end users. The website was first launched in 2008.
