Plastic fantastic
Deceuninck, the supplier of PVC-U windows and doors systems, cladding and roofline and interior and garden applications, has confirmed it will again have a stand at this year’s Ecobuild. The company will be on stand 1642 at the three day event, held at Earl’s Court, London, March 2-4.Deceuninck is using the exhibition to showcase one of its latest products; Autentica. This is described by Deceuninck as ‘part of a strategy to offer clients the ability to create a ‘heritage’ appeal to complement both new and existing properties’. Jon Skinner, commercial director at Deceuninck said: “We are very excited about Autentica; as far as we are aware there is nothing currently available in the PVC-U window market quite like it. Its innovative use of decorative trims gives everyone from fabricators to specifiers and end users the opportunity to choose a very individual product.”
Autentica will be on show alongside the Twinson composite range of decking and cladding systems, together with Belface recycled cladding.
Jon Skinner said: “We have been encouraged by the way the organisers have developed the Ecobuild show, and this year it is our intention to show that plastic windows should not be ignored by environmentalists whose opinions may have been unfairly influenced by incorrect information, leading to a poor perception of the products.
A well fabricated and competently installed PVC-U window remains the class leading product for the majority of domestic and many commercial installations; we will be showing just how far the bar has been raised in respect not only of technical performance but as importantly, aesthetics and suitability of application.”
