30 T H E F I T S H O W P R E V I E W IG to launch Welcome to the world of Mila new partner programme According to Mila, its FIT Show stand will invite visitors into a world where quality is on every street. The award winning hardware specialist is creating its very own mini neighbourhood where every window and door features Mila hardware. There will be eight ‘beautifully styled’ house fronts on the stand, replicating everything from a contemporary city apartment to a traditional country cottage. In these will be a mix of windows and doors in PVC-U, composite and aluminium all fitted with the very latest Mila product innovations, including the new Duo finish Supa stainless steel pull bar, the Secured by Design ProSecure patio handle and the ProSecure door hinge. Centre stage on the Mila stand will be the brand new 100% recyclable Grip espag handle, which the company says is already generating huge amounts of interest in both the trade and commercial sectors. Grip stands for ‘Green Reliable Intelligent Polymer’ and a giant tree in the middle of Mila’s street will serve to remind visitors that this is the only window handle in the UK with such green credentials to have been certified by the Carbon Trust. Mila says there will also be a huge emphasis on its service and how its New and popular machines on display Emmegi says its stand will feature some of its most popular machining and cutting centres alongside a number of new innovations. The machining specialist says that with so many visitors to the FIT Show looking to increase their output in aluminium products, and in particular in bi-fold doors, it has included the entry level Phantomatic M4 machining centre on its stand, which is designed to give fabricators the perfect start in terms of quality, value and functionality. For fabricators limited by space, there will also be the Nanomatic semi-automatic copy router on display with two controlled axes. Also on the stand will be the twin head Precision TS2 cutting centre and the popular Itaca Solution corner crimping machine, which together offer a combination of speed, accuracy and performance, backed by Emmegi’s guarantees of quality and service. On show for the first time at FIT will be a brand new DigiABS integrated 90° cutting saw system with length stop. Specifically designed for the accurate cutting of smaller aluminium profiles such as beads, it features a magnetic measuring system which ensures the optimal positioning speed for precision cutting of lengths up to 3.2m. Emmegi’s team will be giving live demonstrations of the machines team are dedicated to delivering ‘celebrity’ levels of service to customers. Visitors will be able to find out how they could work with Mila to create bespoke products and get expert, personalised advice on everything from the requirements of the new security standards to how to during the show and visitors can get expert advice from them on the right choice of machine for their individual factory set ups.
