PRODUCTS&SERVICES Bespoke material Network Veka is offering member companies the chance to personalise a wide range of professionally designed marketing materials – all at the click of a button. The Network Veka marketing portal is an online facility that will allow members to access ‘truly individual’ marketing materials that feature their own USPs. John Ogilvie Network Veka MD explained: “We've always been extremely proud of the marketing support we offer to Network Veka members and now we've made it even more convenient and cost effective. “Members can simply log in via the Network Veka website to view everything from adverts and posters, to mailers and brochures and then personalise these items to suit their individual company. It's an extremely cost-effective solution which ensures that marketing is consistent and professional – and as we've commissioned the designs and copywriting already, there's only the printing and postage costs to pay. “There's no point being the best at what you do, if you don't shout about it.” www.networkveka.co.uk Auto lock in stock Hardware supplier, VBH, has added the automatic locking Maco Z-TA multipoint door lock to its range of keyless door locking options. Suitable for all Eurogroove doors, Z-TA features three locking latches, two hooks and a central deadbolt. When the door is closed, all three latches pull the sash in against the frame, providing compression over the full door height. A magnet in the latchplate then triggers the locking mechanism to engage the deadbolt and hooks. A single turn of the cylinder now renders the door fully secure, making Z-TA ideal for the elderly or infirm. If no lever is fixed to the outside, it is not necessary to turn the key to deadlock the door, although VBH points out that it will still be required to gain entry. Z-TA can be fitted with an optional electronic motor that allows it to be used with the Maco openDoor range of access control readers. These enable access via car key or Maco blue transponder, credit card (chip or swipe), keypad, fingerprint scanner or mobile phone. www.vbhgb.com Constant supply of fresh air Internorm has extended its I-tec range with the introduction of I-tec Ventilation. Said to be the first of its kind in the UK, the Itec Ventilation system permanently supplies rooms with fresh, clean air. The I-tec ventilator, which is completely integrated into the new Home Pure KF 500 window system, is equipped with an integrated MVHR heat recovery system that reduces energy losses to a minimum through the achieved 86% heat recovery. With Internorm’s I-tec Ventilation system, rooms are aired automatically, efficiently and in accordance with the Passivhaus standard. According to Internorm, I-tec Ventilation ‘increases building aesthetics’ with only narrow ventilation grids visible on the outside and inside of the window. Apparently, there are no high-energy losses resulting from uncontrolled quick maximum air exchange or permanent airing, giving high-energy savings to the occupant. In addition, the ventilator can be fitted at the same time as installing window systems, offering a quick and efficient time saving process. www.internorm.co.uk Mighton Products has just launched the CableVentlock, a Secured by Design casement window restrictor that’s SBD restrictor part of the same product range that includes the Angel Ventlock for sliding sash windows. The CableVentlock is suitable for timber, PVC-U and aluminium windows as well as doors and includes casement and tilt and turn designs. This product, according to Mighton, is quick and easy to fit during the manufacturing process, or as a retro-fit option once the window is installed, and is the first product of its kind to achieve Secured by Design status. Secured by Design is the official UK police flagship initiative supporting the principles of 'designing out crime'. In addition to Secured by Design, CableVentlock conforms to the appropriate quality standards in the form of BS EN 14351- 1:2006, BS EN 13126-5:2011 and BS EN 1670:1998. www.mightonproducts.com ‘Effective’ sealant for self-clean glass Glazing sealant specialist, Geocel, has launched what is claims is an effective sealant for self-cleaning glass.
