26 G L A S S & G L A S S PROCESSING New Bohle showroom Bohle marked the recent opening of its new showroom and training suite with two customer open days at its Dukinfield distribution centre. Bohle Group chief operating officer, Arne Klöfkorn, flew in from Germany to officially open the new facility. Commenting on the new showroom and training suite Klöfkorn said: “Knowledge transfer is at the core of Bohle’s corporate philosophy, which is why we invest so much in seminars, training and exhibitions. This new facility, in the heart of the UK, is similar to the showroom at Bohle’s HQ in Germany, which draws glass professionals from all over Europe to learn about new technology and products.” Facilities for training in UV bonding, glass cutting and glass handling are a feature of the new showroom. Bohle managing director, Dave Broxton, said: “The new space is very versatile, being suitable for hands-on product training or theatre-style seminars and we will be rolling out a series of free training sessions over the next few months on a range of glass processing topics so that as many customers as possible can experience the new facility.” Visitors can view the showroom without an appointment any weekday from 9am-3:30pm. Inagas, supplier of gas filling machines for insulated glass units, has reported a successful show at China Glass Expo in Beijing, where it joined international partners Quanex Building Products and Sparklike. Inagas’ director, Chris Kemp, said: “China Glass is always a fantastic show for us and this year was no exception.
