The brochure is supported by a separate Smartglass Selector tool. Smartglass says it is investing considerable resources in developing its brand, through trade and consumer channels. Both the brochure and Smartglass Selector are the first tools within a campaign that will also include a new consumer facing website. The Smartglass Selector is a tool designed to help consumers and the trade choose the right glass in terms of location and other criteria. It is a rotating disk, that helps define which side frame glass best meets the glass specification in the roof. It also details the criteria of each glass type in terms of performance and tint. Jason McCabe, commercial director of Clayton Glass, commented: ‘These new marketing tools are the start of a campaign that will truly set us apart from our peers. We’re not only going to be helping the trade to sell more Smartglass in the roofs, but also in the side frames too. “We’re now at a stage where we should be looking at a complete glazing solution for conservatories with considerable added benefits for the consumer and a means to increase margins for installation companies.” www.smart-glass.co.uk Saint-Gobain says that its Glass Interior products ‘deflect and channel light in imaginative and exciting ways’ with a wide range of applications – from bathrooms, kitchens and living areas to retail, offices and hotels. With such an ‘extensive offering’ Saint-Gobain has released a brochure pack and webpage aimed at architects and interior designers to provide key information. The LOVE Interiors Brochure Pack takes all of Saint-Gobain’s interior glass products and combines them in a ‘convenient’ format that is ‘highly functional whilst offering a wealth of ideas to designers’. Saint-Gobain states that the complementary LOVE Interiors webpage offers a ‘simple, easily accessed location’ through which specifiers may get an instant ‘fix’ of the company’s products whilst also providing quick links through which users may order the brochure pack, request a visit and call for specific information. www.saint-gobain-interiorglass.com
