95 PRODUCTS & S E R V I C E S New Endurance brochure Endurance ‘solid and secure’ composite door manufacturer, Rocal, has launched a new 64-page Endurance door brochure. Launched this month to coincide with the rebranding of the Endurance composite door range, Rocal, plans to unveil a number of other initiatives in 2015 to support its growing national installer base. Managing director, Stephen Nadin, said: “We have a great number of customers, many of which we have been in partnership with for more than 21 years. We are pleased to be able to furnish them with our latest and most comprehensive brochure to date. We know our customers love the laminated solid core of an Endurance door and the strength it offers. “As well as the new brochure, which is packed full of new and exciting content, into 2015 we will be introducing a complete range of point of sale Endurance door branded items to give our customers increased showroom support.” www.rocal.co.uk ‘A true timber substitute’ KAT has launched the Mayfair box sash, a fully mechanically jointed window, described as ‘a true timber substitute’. Designed to ‘mimic’ traditional timber box sash windows, Mayfair Solid & Secure Composite Doors ‘Stylish and slimline’ TruFrame has launched the new PVC-U flush sash window from Liniar, which also incorporates Yale's enhanced security shootbolt locking as standard, and is available in a number of exclusive foil finishes. Designed to replicate the ‘stylish and slimline’ appearance of a traditional timber window, using modern materials, the window uses Liniar’s six-chambered EnergyPlus sculptured frame and incorporates a new four-chambered 50mm deep flush sash, which is 62mm high, making for a sightline of just 102mm. Colours available from stock include white, flat cream, rosewood, golden oak and TruFrame’s own white foil and Irish oak options, along with a range of special foils including black, cream foil and Chartwell green. Hardware finishing options include contemporary handles, suited traditional locking, monkey tail handles and a dummy stay from the VBH GreenteQ range, along with a milled astragal and Georgian bar. Like all TruFrame windows and doors, the new flush sash product will benefit from a degree of hand finishing, using the company’s exclusive ‘four-step process’. www.truframe.co.uk Multi-chambered options for outer and sash frame profiles are now available for all three of Synseal’s 70mm PVC-U window systems – Legend, Shield and SynerJy – to extend customer choice. These new frame profile configurations are thermally efficient and can achieve ‘A’ rated WERs when glazed with 28mm DG units without the need for low iron glass. Previously only available for the Legend system, multi-chambered profile designs have generated strong fabricator demand and so Synseal has invested in the design and extrusion of multi-chambered sash profiles to complete the offerings for the company’s chamfered Shield and sculptured ovolo SynerJy systems. “We always listen to our fabricator partners and further development of our proven Shield and SynerJy systems was a logical step to take,” said Steve Brown, Synseal’s products and customer service director. www.synseal.com Independent hardware distributor, Sealco, says it has added its new Essentials range so timber and PVC-U fabricators and installers ‘can get the best deals on everyday consumables’. “We know there are products that people use all the time so we wanted to make sure they can buy them at everyday low prices,” explained Alan Malcolm, sales director for Sealco Scotland. “To make it really easy for customers, the Essentials range is also available online. Ordering from www.sealco-scotland.co.uk gives customers a flexible way of buying hardware and accessories from major manufacturers including AGB, Yale, Hoppe, Maco, Trojan and PC Henderson and we want to make the Essentials range of everyday items just as simple.” Included in the range are wood fillers, wood glues, wipes, super glue, towels and PVC-U cleaners. “The Essentials range gives customers the chance to buy products they use on a daily basis quickly and easily and everything is in stock ready for next day delivery,” added Alan. www.sealco-scotland.co.uk www.ggp.com January 2015 is described as a top of the range option from the KAT Elegance stable of products, where the company says it has ‘taken design and development to the next level’, by ‘respecting traditional timber sightlines and assembly techniques’. The Mayfair has many ‘exclusive’ features which, according to KAT, allows its customers to offer ‘true differentiation’ to consumers. Mayfair has a fully mechanically jointed outer frame, mechanically jointed sashes and deep bottom rail, plus run-through sash horns. Mayfair is whitegrain foil laminated on both sides and has new ‘KAT bespoke’ traditional Georgian bars, which sit flush with the sash, as well as a completely flush 146mm outer frame with integral cill. The decorative hook and claw cam-catch is another bespoke element, developed specifically for KAT. www.katuk.co.uk ‘Best deals on consumables’ Multi-chambered for all
