NEW YEAR MESSAGES
This year will be an
important one for the
in the UK and we’ll
be starting the year with a very different
approach and a completely new structured sales team. We’re in a
very good place as a business with a strong showing in 2018 and
the prospects for 2019 look excellent already.
For 2019, Kömmerling will be looking at new ways in which we
engage customers and to back this up with what will be the most
technically advanced PVC-U system in the UK with System 76.
With PVC-U/aluminium hybrid options and technologies such as
the pioneering surface colour finish of proCoverTec and the prefoamed
profile with proEnergyTec, we’re several steps ahead.
We will have one of the largest stands at the FIT Show, which
will form the perfect platform for us to launch System 76 in
the flush, casement and fully reversible variants, along with
the existing tilt and turn format. We will also showcase the
PremiDoor 76, capable of spans of up to 6.5m with just two
sashes, as people look for alternatives to the bi-folding door.
Visitors to the show will also be able to find out more about
our unique partnership programme, which brings together some
of our most trusted and respected business partners for the
benefit of our customers. This customer centric approach will also
be further fuelled by our new installer campaign and we’ll even
be looking to show off our new showroom concepts.
It’s the start of a new chapter for Kömmerling in the UK,
building on the great work others have carried out in recent
years. It’s also a time when both fabricators, installers and
indeed building specifiers look at their respective PVC-U systems
suppliers, their capabilities and to see whether they measure up
for the long-term. But above all, we hope that we as an industry
have a strong year regardless of the political and economic
uncertainties, it’s certainly something we’ll be believing in, given
what we’re launching this year with more support than ever from
our parent company, Profine Group.
This year will be an
important and possibly
defining year for the industry
with the concerns of Brexit
clouding many business decisions. So, we’ve
taken the bold step to focus on bringing new products to market
more quickly to ensure our trade partners are one step ahead in
This industry thrives on innovation, new initiatives and
opening up new sales opportunities, something that we have
as a business focused on for more than 20 years. Our reach
now extends to both glazed and solid roofs, as well as both
aluminium and hybrid glazing and even our popular Verandah
outdoor living solution.
We can, in effect, offer complete glazed extensions, or even
single storey builds that offer both a fully solid and tiled
Warmroof and even the latest hybrid variant with fixed triple
glazed units from eaves to ridge. There’s been a huge shift in
recent years from consumers wanting low cost extended living
spaces, towards these new luxurious rooms. People’s living
habits have also changed with homeowners spending more time
in kitchen extensions than the traditional lounge.
We are faced with considerable uncertainties ahead of us,
that we have no influence over and so we must be confident,
stand resolute and get on with what we all do best. That is to
manufacture some great products and solutions for the ever
more discerning consumer.
We’ll be doing much to support our nationwide network of
trade partners across our four branches this year which will
also include the launch of something very exciting that we have
been working on for a while, which will have a large and positive
effect on our customers.
This will also tie in with our push towards complete room
kits, with all the benefit of an award-winning single source
supplier operating across the UK, with considerable resources
when it comes to customer care. Above all, it’s in all of our
interests to make 2019 a defining year for the right reasons.
