NEW YEAR MESSAGES

I waited for the result of the
General Election before
writing this message, as it
has such a dramatic effect
on how 2020 will play out for our
industry. Having done so, it’s clear we now
have a government that will use its strong majority to push
Brexit through sooner rather than later. Whether you support
Brexit or not, it does at least set us on a path that ends the allencompassing
chaos we’ve had to face for the past four years. It’s
by no means done and dusted, but there’s light at the end of the
tunnel. I’m confident that consumers will feel the same, and this
year we should see a return of stability and optimism – both of
which are good for business.
Despite the uncertainty, 2019 was another good year for
Roseview. We maintained our history of increasing sales each
year, driven by quality and the continued growth of the high-end
market we operate in. If 2019 showed us one thing it’s that even
when things are at their worst, quality is always in demand.
We used 2019 to consolidate and improve efficiency. We’ve
gradually brought in a new management team, which has had a
big effect – team Roseview is now the best it’s ever been. And we
prepared for further growth by opening an additional factory,
increasing our manufacturing space by almost 50%.
We have huge plans for 2020. The headline will be our new
Ultimate Rose sash window; the third version of our awardwinning
premium model. It includes several new features that
could well change the way people think about timber-alternative
sash windows. We’re also developing our Incarnation secondary
glazing range, with a new release planned later in the year.
We’re continuing to invest heavily across the business,
especially with two exciting new digital projects designed
specifically to benefit our customers. They’ll be ready early in
the year. And we have a number of other major developments
planned that I’m not allowed to tell you about yet!
But everything we do in 2020 will follow the basic formula
we’ve always used: design and manufacture great products, to
highest quality, backed up by the very best customer service. An
improving political and commercial landscape will help both
us and our customers, which is – of course – very encouraging.
But even without that we’re confident that 2020 will be an even
bigger, better year for Roseview.
Here at Ultraframe our
philosophy is a simple one: we
can only be successful if we help
to make our customers successful.
We are very lucky to have fantastic customers who make us
extremely proud. They inspire us every day when we see them
expanding their businesses and using their creativity and skill to
create beautiful, warm extensions and conservatories using our
products. In fact, together with our talented customers we have
recently won several awards for some stunning installations.
By putting our customers at the heart of our business plans and
doing a lot of listening and research about the issues affecting their
businesses, we can work on the solutions that will really make a
difference to them.
So, what do our customers need from us in 2020? Conservatory
and extension installation companies have fantastic opportunities
to build profitable businesses with strong cash returns. New
conservatories, conservatory refurbishments and new build
extensions can all transform homes and create amazing, practical
spaces. Help in selecting the right suite of products and assistance in
selling and installing them is invaluable, and so this is always our
focus.
The list of areas we can and do help with is growing: surveying,
installation, selling, marketing, training, regulations and more.
We like to think that we go above and beyond in every area to best
meet our customer’s needs, whether that be access to fully bespoke
“So, what do our customers need
from us in 2020? Conservatory and
extension installation companies
have fantastic opportunities to build
multi-channel marketing materials and campaigns, training courses
that are tailored to our customer’s exact needs, right through
to technical support which includes on-site assistance. We are
extremely proud of the support we provide and immensely value
the teamwork ethos that this creates between ourselves and our
customers.
While the whole team at Ultraframe is dedicated to customer
service excellence, things do of course sometimes go wrong, and
on these rare occasions, knowing there is invariably a same or next
day solution is priceless, and continues to give our customers all
important peace of mind.
Our aim for 2020 is to continue supporting our customers to help
them win in the market place and enjoy business success in 2020
and beyond.
We wish everyone in the industry all the very best for a
prosperous year.
