Freefoam
launches new
video
Freefoam Building Products
has launched a new video to
illustrate how PVC roo ine
products work as part of a
wider home improvement
offering.
Working with Nottingham
based company, N G Roo ine
Windows & Doors, Freefoam
lmed a refurbishment
installation to illustrate how
roo ine products, fascia,
sof t and gutter, can be
tted as part of a wider
project including replacement
windows and doors.
Owner, Ashley Marvin,
started his business in 2012,
offering fascia, sof t and
guttering in and around
the Nottinghamshire area.
He says that he found that
promoting and tting roo ine
led to customers requesting
other long lasting, low
maintenance PVC home
improvements. The company
now ts doors, windows,
at roofs and dry verge with
several tting teams who
specialise in different areas
of work. Ashley said: “I
started off with roo ine but
wanted to expand what we
offered. Doors and windows
were a natural progression
from fascia and sof t, and
work perfectly together for
us. Homeowners want long
lasting, low maintenance
products on their home, and
we can offer the full package.
It’s meant we can expand
our range and gives us more
opportunities to develop new
business.
“We’ve always been a
Freefoam registered installer.
We get marketing support
from Freefoam, brochures we
can leave with customers and
information packs to help our
sales process.”

Veka UK has launched a new
specifi cation guide providing
manufacturers, installers and
specifi ers with comprehensive
information on all the products
within the Veka UK portfolio.
Marketing director, Dawn
Stockell, said: “Here at Veka UK,
we know our products are perfect
for every project, because they are
tested to all expected quality and
safety accreditations – but more
importantly – they must meet our
own exceptionally high standards.
“Furthermore, as a customercentric
company, having the ‘perfect
product’ is just one part of the service;
the second part is presenting
all that product information within
the ideal package, and that’s exactly
what we’ve done with both our new
specifi cation guide and the new Veka
website.
“The guide is over 100 pages
and contains everything you need
to know about all systems and
products within the Veka, Halo
and Imagine brand ranges. From
in-depth technical data, technical
drawings, and performance results,
to information about our technical
support services.
“And, for those that prefer a ‘pick
and mix’ approach, individual pages
can be downloaded by product
through the new veka.co.uk site,
so customers can effectively put
together a bespoke reference guide
for their most-used systems.
“The specifi cation guide itself
is a joy to read. I’m really proud of
how we’ve managed to fi t so much
valuable content into such a clear
and straightforward document.
And, I believe the support that
complements the spec guide is
second to none.”
