Go green with Blue Line foils
Fenestration foam tape specialist, ISO
Chemie, says that its new range of biobased
self-adhesive connection foils
offer improved sustainability around
window sealing.
High performance ISO Connect
Blue Line is manufactured from
renewable materials, including
polymers based on sugar beet,
sugarcane, corn and maize, which
absorb large amounts of CO2 during
growth, providing performance
qualities similar to foils manufactured
from synthetic materials.
According to ISO Chemie, the
Inside Blue Line option provides
‘rapid and effective’ airtight bonding
of window connection joints on the
interior side of a building structure,
creating a vapour diffusion barrier that
prevents condensation and mould
build-up around the window frame
area. Suitable for exterior sealing of
connection joints on windows, doors
and panels, Outside Blue Line acts as
a fl exible and durable vapour diffusing
foil to improve the release of moisture
to the atmosphere.
The foils are said to comply with
European environmental regulations
(EnEV), RAL installation guidelines
and are resistant to driving rain,
impermeable to water, airtight and
windproof. The product comes with
a -year guarantee, can be over
plastered, painted and glued during
and post installation thanks to a fl eece
effect surface and are available in m
rolls in a selection of width options:
mm, mm, mm, 8mm,
mm and mm.

Bond It 'adapts' to Covid- pandemic
Bond It, the UK manufacturer of
sealants, adhesives and building
chemicals, says it has 'adapted and
evolved' in a world dramatically
changed by the Covid- pandemic.
Bond It adds that its adhesive was
used in the construction of a -bed
capacity NHS Nightingale Hospital, the
Harrogate Convention Centre, by one
of its major customers. It was opened
on April by Captain Tom Moore, the
then -year-old army veteran who
at the time had raised more £m to
support health service workers.
Bond It has formulated a hand
sanitiser and a hand and surface
sanitiser in response to the upsurge
in demand for these products.
Manufactured to approved WHO
formulation, these are now available
throughout a network of independent
merchants. Supporting one of its
chosen local charities, Bond It recently
donated 100 bottles of sanitiser to
NHS Overgate Hospice, Elland which
has been providing palliative care to
the Calderdale community since 8.
Jess Bailey, events fundraiser at the
Hospice, commented: "A huge thank
you to Bond It for kindly donating
bottles of hand sanitiser to the
Hospice. This will help our doctors and
nurses continue to care for our patients
during these unsettling times. Thank
you for your continued support."

TommyTrinder.com has launched
a consumer-facing website – www.
tommytrinder.design – to generate
leads for installers who use its virtual
showroom software, Framepoint.
CEO, Chris Brunsdon, explained:
“Online searches for home
improvements have been going through
the roof – but installers need to be
able to capture and convert these
leads to build their pipeline. Many
of our subscribers have been busy
with remote demos, screen-sharing
virtual makeovers on video calls with
homeowners and lining up business for
later installation.
"But we wanted to do more – hence
the new consumer site, which we’re
supporting with PPC ads, SEO and
campaigns on social media.
“Our new consumer site is
capturing online searches for home
improvements – up % on last
year – and showing consumers that
purchasing windows and doors could
be like buying a new kitchen or a car.
"Photorealistic renders of their new
windows and doors, shown in-situ on
their home, mean they’re excited and
inspired. And they can change styles,
colours and materials in minutes, not
hours. It means they’re much more
likely to buy, so the quality of leads is
great.”
Installers interested in learning more
about the Framepoint platform can visit
the main site at www.tommytrinder.

Online versions of Senior Architectural
Systems’ latest residential aluminium
door and window brochures are
available online.
Following on from the Door
Collection guide, the new Window
Collection is now also available. Both
brochures can be downloaded directly
from the company’s website as PDF
versions that can then be passed on
via email, either to satisfy direct sales
enquiries or as part of speculative
marketing campaigns.
At a time when ‘virtual’ sales
appointments are becoming an
important way to maintain contact
with customers and lockdown has
given people more time to consider
home improvement projects, Senior
says that its product guides have
been specifi cally designed for use
by installers working in the domestic
residential market. The new brochures
include images and information on
Senior’s aluminium windows and patio
doors from across the company’s Ali
and Pure ranges.
Featuring 'clear and concise' details
of the different window and door
styles, confi gurations and fi nishing
options available, the brochures
showcase Senior’s in-house powdercoating
facility which offers an almost
unlimited choice of colours. Security
information is also included, with
details of how Senior’s aluminium
products have been tested to achieve
compliance with PAS :6,
approved document Q of the Building
Regulations and Secured by Design.
