AT Precision opens new factory

AT Precision, supplier of bi-fold hardware, has opened a new 18,000ft² factory at their premises in Durham, scaling up production of their Everglide hardware range. The factory houses state-of-the-art hardware manufacturing machinery, they say, including PAS24:2016 accredited bi-folding door rollers, high-quality top guides, pull handles, hinges, cleats and shootbolt handles, all of which are made from cast aluminium and are compatible with major systems.

The company has also bought in a new flexible extrusion line, designed for the production of Everseal, their new range of gaskets, which can accommodate any aluminium system on the market. “Our Everseal gaskets can replicate any gasket line for any aluminium systems company, while offering outstanding performance and great value,” said Michael Hewitt, AT Precision’s sales director.

“Opening a new factory and taking on more staff means we can really ramp up production of both our Everglide and Everseal ranges, ensuring that we’re never short of supply. It’s also allowed for more space on our premises, meaning we’re able to store at least three months’ worth of hardware in our warehouse – even in these unprecedented trading times, our customers will never fall short.

“And, because we’re manufacturing in-house, our products are a lot better value than others on the market, while still delivering the superb quality that aluminium fabricators expect.” Both Everglide and Everseal products come with a 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee. The company also promises next day delivery on all orders made before 1pm, and free delivery on orders within the UK over £250.
