‘Busy and buzzing’ at FIT

rehauWith a number of exciting new product launches, a stand buzzing with ‘white coated’ experts and an ‘oxygen bar’ which was one of the talking points of the show, it was hardly surprising that PVC-U systems supplier Rehau’s stand was one of the busiest at FIT.

,Themed around the company’s scientific expertise, the stand focused on Rehau’s strengths in polymer development and product design and included the first showing of a flush fitting casement window in Rehau Total70, the launch of multi-chamber profiles in the sculptured Rehau Total70S system and a new range of profiles for composite door frames which allow for the inclusion of a top light.

,At the show, Rehau announced an agreement to supply the new profiles to Door-Stop, and Door-Stop’s sales and marketing director, Patrick Dean, was delighted to see the product at the show.  He said: “This profile ticks every box for us – it looks great, it’s got the flexibility we need in terms of transoms for top lights and of course, it’s available in a complete range of colours. We think our customers will love its looks and appreciate the inherent quality which comes from Rehau.”

,Irene Smith, Rehau’s marketing communications manager, who was responsible for Rehau’s stand at FIT, said the response from visitors to the whole stand had been really positive. She said: “Just like last year, we packaged serious messages about our quality and innovation in a fun and memorable way and visitors really seemed to enjoy that.

,“We asked every customer who was entering our prize draw, to win a trip to the BMW Concept Lab in Munich, to select which elements they thought best summed up Rehau and quality, brand and product innovation came out top, which was great news.

,“At times, the show itself felt a little less busy than last year but there was still lots of interest in Rehau and particularly in our new products so we’ve already reserved our stand for FIT in 2016.”
