Liniar targets partial re-opening date of 7 May

Liniar has said that it is working towards a provisional re-opening date of Thursday 7 May, subject to Government advice and industry demand. The system manufacturer said that if it is possible to return on 7 May, then it will work towards making its first deliveries to customers on Monday, 11 May.

Where appropriate, Liniar adds that its senior operational managers have been working to provide Liniar products to customers operating in key sectors such as hospitals and care homes.

The company has also utilised its 3D printer and ordered an injection moulding tool to produce thousands of protective face visors for key workers, together with running a raffle to encourage donations to our amazing NHS – see www.liniar.co.uk/news/liniar-moves-swiftly-to-help-front-line-workers.

Over the next few weeks, Liniar adds that it will continue these activities, alongside planning for a safe return to Liniar House. It says that it will be putting ‘clear and controlled’ social distancing and hygiene measures in place in all areas, as protecting staff remains its primary concern.
