Listers to host open days

The manufacturer Listers has organised two open days to help prepare customers for the upcoming regulation changes. The first event is to be held on 12 April at Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium in north London. The second is to take place two days later, at Listers’ manufacturing facility and Big Trade counter in Stoke-on-Trent.

Both events will focus on how changes to Part F (ventilation) and Part L (energy efficiency) will impact the working practices of installers in the fenestration industry. The company aims to show that its product range puts customers in a position of strength when targeting new business.

At both events, compliance specialist Jon Vanstone, chair of Certass trade association, is to clarify the position of the self-certification bodies on the proposed changes, and explain how the building regulation changes are to be enforced. For his presentation, Listers’ managing director, Roy Frost ,will summarise the regulation-ready products in the fabricator’s portfolios.

The events are to also feature product updates from the Residence Collection’s Sarah Hitchings, and a round up of the marketing material available to installation companies, including printed and digital brochures, consumer finance, new website opportunities, and details about Business Pilot’s CRM tool. “There are significant changes to on the horizon,” said Rob Frost, Listers’ managing director, “which is causing some head-scratching in the industry.

“We have organised these two days to put our customers’ minds at rest by clearly explaining what these changes mean, and to demonstrate that our product range is fully compliant. Changes to the building regulations needn’t be difficult, which is why we want to make understanding them – and capitalising on the opportunities – as easy as possible.”

Delegates to Spurs’ new ground in London will also be given a tour of the 63,000-seat stadium. For more information, call 01782 391 900, or email sales@listertf.co.uk.
