Double R Glass & Roofing Systems has announced a 51% increase in its decorative product sales in 2014 with demand continuing to soar in 2015.
Managing director of Double R, Ian Sims, said:
“Decorative glass is a growing sector and as a specialist in everything glass and roof related, we wanted to establish ourselves as a trusted partner that can help fabricators make the most of the opportunities this growth brings. That is why we established a specialist Decorative Centre, to ensure we could deliver any and all of our customers’ decorative requirements, but the level of demand we have had, and continue to see this year, is even more than we had anticipated. We saw a 51% increase in these products in 2014 and look set to sell even more this year.
“We have a great infrastructure that is set up to stay ahead of this demand, with two of the industry’s most experienced decorative specialists, Bob Stocker and Derek Stocker, leading the department. On the back of the success last year, we moved the Decorative Centre to a dedicated 2,500ft2 unit, with full sealed unit production capabilities, including an automatic lead applicator for high quality diamond and square leaded units.
“The specialist division is dedicated to delivering top quality decorative bespoke panels and offers a wide range of services including fused tile panels, sandblasting, supply only sandblast resists, lead soldering and decorative bevel panels. The centre also offers training to customers who want more information and support in this area.”
