ECDS launches Dinky Door range for heritage properties

Entrance Composite Door Solutions (ECDS) has announced the launch of its Dinky Door Collection, specifically designed to meet the challenges installers face when working with heritage properties.

The new range features a minimum height of just 1,720mm, making it ideal for properties where standard doors simply won’t fit. Despite their compact dimensions, Dinky Doors deliver the same premium security and thermal performance that has made ECDS a trusted name in the industry, while perfectly complementing the unique architectural character of period and smaller properties.

Gregory Kelly, ECDS Managing Director, commented: “Our trade partners have consistently highlighted the need for high-quality composite doors that work with smaller apertures without compromising on security or aesthetics. The Dinky Door Collection is our direct response to this industry feedback, providing installers with a premium product that opens up new opportunities in the heritage and renovation markets.”

The collection features 26 distinct door designs, over 40 colour options, and more than 40 decorative glass choices, allowing installers to offer clients the same extensive personalisation options available in standard-sized ranges.

Each door is manufactured to the same exacting standards as the company’s full-sized products, ensuring no compromise on security, durability or performance.

“We’ve seen significant growth in the heritage renovation sector, and many installers were having to turn down projects or compromise with ill-fitting solutions,” Gregory added. “With the Dinky Door Collection, our trade partners can now confidently approach these specialised installations with a product that’s purpose-built for the task.”

Dinky Doors are available to trade customers nationwide, supported by comprehensive technical documentation and installation guidance specifically tailored for smaller apertures.
