Showroom upgrade

PJ Plastics has upgraded its showroom in Bexley, Kent, which now features 10 Solidor composite doors with all 18 colours on show, including the latest Cotswold-inspired Painswick finish.

While Solidor’s lead generation engine has provided some strong leads, the reputation of PJ Plastics, the products on show and the newly refurbished showroom have reportedly done much to provide a constant stream of enquiries.

Now with the new showroom and a flat screen TV mounted on the wall, consumers can design their very own Solidor in real time and it’s already proving a big success. The first sale of a Painswick Ludlow door was completed on the very first day that the Painswick-finished door was put on show.

The showroom is managed by Heidi Farmer, who believes that nine in every 10 door-sales are sold to a female, in what has been traditionally seen as a more male dominated sector. Statistics have also shown that the sales of Solidor products in The Showroom Bexley have also come at the expense of timber.

Heidi commented: “We’ve invested heavily in this showroom to stand far apart from the typical double glazing showrooms of yesteryear. It’s a clean, modern environment and one in which is generating a lot of Solidor sales.”

Joe Martoccia, managing director of Solidor concluded: “This is a perfect example of a premium showroom environment and the sales speak for themselves. With new product developments and point of sale materials in the pipeline, we’re ready to raise our game even further, to support our network partners such as PJ Plastics.”
