Continued investment in online ordering at TruFrame

Continued Investment For Online OrderingWith more than 58% of customers now ordering online regularly via mobile, tablet and desktop devices, TruFrame has invested further in its IT infrastructure, helping to streamline order processing and reduce lead times for product deliveries.

A new fibre optic line has been installed at the Melton Mowbray based fabricator, magnifying its bandwidth tenfold and providing 100mb/s upload and download performance.

For the TruFrame customers already ordering online, the move is said to have improved their business efficiencies, provided them with a 24/7 service and eliminated any of the risks associated with multiple ordering entry.

Patrick Firmager, director of TruFrame, commented: “Our online ordering portal is arguably the best in the industry with in-house expertise driving improvements all the time. With over 50% of web based activity on mobile devices now, we’ve also been quick to build a solution that’s as effective on a phone or tablet as it is on a desktop.

“We have a vision for the future that over 80% of customers will order online and with effective training and investment, we hope to make this a reality.”
