City Building returns to Halo

haloHalo has, once again, won the contract to supply PVC-U systems for City Building Glasgow, following a ‘competitive tender process’.

City Building is reportedly one of Scotland’s largest construction companies with turnover of almost £200 million. Having decided to go back into window fabrication, the company put its supply contract out to tender and Halo was found to offer a profile system which met all the company’s requirements when it came to quality, energy efficiency and accreditations, while falling within the required budget parameters.

Royal Strathclyde Blindcraft Industries (RSBi) is the manufacturing division of City Building LLP and reportedly provides employment opportunities for a ‘diverse’ range of people, including veterans, those with disabilities and other ‘under-represented groups’ across Glasgow and beyond.

The company will be fabricating Halo’s System10 product range for clients such as Glasgow Housing Association and the City Council.

Colin Torley, sales and marketing director of the VEKA UK Group, said: “We’re delighted that City Building will be working with Halo once again.

,“Halo’s systems offer all the quality and accreditations you would expect as a brand of the VEKA UK Group, and this makes them perfect for social housing, education and commercial applications in particular.

,“A four-year deal has been drawn up with City Building and we very much look forward to working with the Glasgow based team.”
