As the eleventh Grand Designs Live London, sponsored by Anglian Home Improvements, closed its doors at London’s ExCeL (2-10 May); Media 10 – the event’s organiser – celebrated a hugely successful show, with more than 100,000 visitors and over 500 exhibitors in attendance at the contemporary home show.
Commenting on the 2015 event, show director of Grand Designs Live, Nathan Garnett said: “Over the course of the 11 years Grand Designs Live London has been at London ExCeL, both the exhibition and exhibitors continue to grow and push the boundaries of home development.
“Not only has the show continued to attract local visitors, but we’re also seeing those from further afield come to explore the latest trends in home design and seek advice from the top experts in the business.”
Exhibitors were also delighted with the show’s success, with Silva Francis, or exhibitor, BriteLite, commenting: “It’s exciting to be surrounded by serious consumers, and as always, it’s been a pleasure to be involved in the show.”
As well as BriteLite Windows, other exhibitors from the fenestration industry included Aluminium Trade Frames, Black Millwork and Apeer, which launched its new Lumi window and door system at the show.
