HWL Windows Group based in Leeds has secured an agreement with The Stable Company, a specialist in modular timber buildings, to supply its PVC-U windows and aluminium bi-folding doors as part of an ongoing agreement.
Robin King, production and purchasing manager at The Stable Company in York, said: “The project with HWL will involve the supply of windows and bi-folding doors for a large number of modular buildings for commercial use, normally as classrooms or educational buildings. We were impressed with the manufacturing operation at HWL and their ability to turn around windows and doors to a high standard to meet our specification.”
The windows are specified to Planabell ‘A’ standard to ensure the energy efficiency of the educational buildings. The bi-folding doors to the front of the modular units have recently been supplied to a project fully finished grey to the outside and white inside, however may be required in a variety of finishes.
