Deceuninck golf day a hit

Deceuninck Deceuninck recently held a golf day for its customers, in association with hardware partner VBH, at Woburn Golf Course, near Milton Keynes. The day included breakfast on arrival, a warm-up on the driving range and putting green, 18 holes of golf with the club’s pro and dinner and drinks until late in the evening.

Deceuninck’s managing director, Roy Frost, said: “Building long-term relationships with our customers is what it’s all about. Spending the day socialising with our customers and some of their customers, reminds us all that it’s a partnership. We’re building and growing our companies together. We might be competitive on the course, but we aren’t competing with each other in the market.”

During the evening meal, prizes were awarded to the best teams and best individuals. A raffle and auction raised money for GM Fundraising’s Hope House appeal. Woburn Golf Club donated a four-ball round of golf and a three-course meal to the auction, which reportedly raised more than £800 for the charity.
