Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) has launched its new Ireland-specific website.
Developed in direct response to requests from Irish members, DHF said the site has been created to provide a dedicated space that reflects their requirements. It will serve as a central hub for professionals to access training, technical guidance and member services. The platform also facilitates payment in euros for training courses and invoices.
According to DHF, being a member of the federation based in Ireland offers the same variety of exclusive benefits. This includes free technical CPD webinars delivered throughout the year to enhance knowledge and keep professionals current with industry changes. The usual DHF technical helpline and attending open days for its members will continue as will in-person meetings. DHF added that these are held in Ireland and provide opportunities for networking and the discussion of regional issues. Members are also encouraged to join virtual meetings held regularly to ensure consistent support and engagement regardless of location, it noted.
Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens, DHF’s commercial director, said: “We are delighted to launch our new website for Ireland that enables our members access to location-specific information quickly and easily, as well as regular news updates and social media interaction. The new regional platform has been developed to support professionals in Ireland’s door, gate and hardware industries, reflecting the specific needs of the Irish market and delivers a seamless and tailored experience for both Irish-based members and non-members, offering access to relevant, up-to-date information, industry resources and even payment in euros.”
In November 2023, DHF created a bespoke version of its electronic newsletter, Dashboard, for members in Ireland. This new website, featuring industry content relevant to the region, is designed to provide information that is complementary to the newsletter.
