Door-Stop bought out

door stopDoor manufacturer, Masonite International Corporation, has bought Door-Stop International, the UK composite door company.

Masonite, a manufacturer of interior and exterior doors for domestic and commercial markets, reportedly employs more than 7,000 people and sells to 70 countries from over 70 locations worldwide.

Door-Stop’s Nick Dutton commented: “Masonite’s acquisition is an exciting new chapter. Door-Stop customers will benefit from Masonite’s immense knowledge, resources and experience, particularly in product development and innovation.

,“Masonite is a company that has doors at the heart of its culture, so I am delighted that Door-Stop is joining the Masonite family and becoming a part of its future. This should be reassuring to customers and potential customers who want long term supply relationships with a progressive organisation.”

As business unit director, Martin Dickie, a new addition to the Door-Stop team, will aim to ensure that Door-Stop ‘continues to grow and deliver on its promises to both current and future customers’.
