Dudley’s Aluminium has secured a project in Ebbw Vale, in Blaenau Gwent, and is teaming up again with Jones Brothers (Henllan), a civil engineering company, to deliver it. Staff from the Cardiff-based fabricator previously worked with Jones Brothers on the TVR car showroom in the south-Wales town.

The newly secured project is a 52,582ft² industrial unit at the 30-acre Rhyd Y Blew site, owned by the Welsh government. The RYB1 unit is set to include a manufacturing and production space, a two-storey open plan office, a service yard and loading area.

Leaders behind the project aim for the site to be carbon neutral when in operation. Dudley’s Aluminium is set to install a Metal Technology system of capped curtain walling, doors and ‘Hi’ windows, as well as automatic doors.

Colin Shorney, managing director for Dudley’s Aluminium, said: “It is great to be working with Jones Brothers (Henllan) once again in Ebbw Vale. This project will deliver much-needed quality, mixed-use industrial space for local businesses and inward investors.”

Earlier this year, Dudley’s Aluminium secured a project with Beard Construction on 100 Victoria Street in Bristol. Read more here.
