Goldthorpe based window manufacturer, Building Product Solutions has been shortlisted in the SME Manufacturer category at this year’s Yorkshire Business Masters Awards.
Ian Harrison and Lynne Darwin set up Building Product Solutions in the heart of the recession in 2009.
In five years since its inception, the company has continued to grow at an impressive rate, currently installing on 80 live sites. It employs 33 people and achieved a turnover of £2 million in the year up to May 2014 – trebling its turnover.
To meet growing demand, Building Product Solutions has just completed a £100k investment in new machinery, meaning it is now able to manufacture 1,500 windows and doors a week.
It now has an order pipeline worth £7.5 million after winning long-term contracts to supply major housing developers such as Taylor Wimpey, Gleeson, Persimmon and Redrow Homes.

The Yorkshire Business Masters sees 33 companies from the region shortlisted among 10 categories. The winners will be announced at The Queens Hotel, Leeds, on Thursday, February 26.
