Next stop Lagos for Business Micros

Business Micros has just received its first order from Nigeria, in West Africa, as it expands into even more new markets.

Go Windows and Doors, a start up fabricator in Lagos, has ordered Business Micros’ Evolution software to process fabrication of windows and doors in the Turkish manufactured Veratec and Uniplast PVC-U systems.

With Nigeria boasting one of the strongest economies in Africa, with annual growth in recent years of around 7%, there is lots of potential for PVC-U windows and doors in a fast growing construction sector.

Because it offers remote software installation, Business Micros says it can offer Go Windows and Doors a ‘cost effective’ route to acquiring its Evolution software.

Working in English, which is the official language of Nigeria, Evolution will help Go Windows and Doors with things like works order sheets, bar optimisation, quotations, cost breakdowns and manufacturing times and will help them to create an ‘efficient, tightly managed’ set-up from the outset.

Although the Nigerian company originally found Business Micros online, a representative from Go Windows and Doors will be visiting Business Micros on its stand at next month’s FIT show to seal the deal.

Graeme Bailey, managing director at Business Micros, said:  “Our overseas business just keeps on growing. It’s a great testament to our reputation and to the fact that we can offer such a reliable and straightforward remote installation process. We’re very much looking forward to meeting Olubi Adejobi from Go Windows and Doors at the FIT Show and learning a bit more from him about the Nigerian market.”
