Prefix offers free S2 upgrade to grey-on-white

The Prefix Systems team is offering a free upgrade to the popular grey-on-white colour combination of the Sheerline S2, for all unglazed PVC-U roofs. The summer promotion is taking place while demand for the new S2 glazed roofing system is high, according to the firm’s representative.

“S2 is a new development that has been two years in the making,” the rep continued. “Both Prefix and Sheerline believe that this will help reignite the glass roofing sector, thanks to a radical redesign that takes inspiration from contemporary design thinking, with added structural capability for larger spans.

“With a complete aluminium window and door offering under the Opal brand, there’s the option for a complete aluminium glazed extension package too.”

An integrated bolster solution at the eaves, and one that also seamlessly integrates with the glazing bars, ensures that S2 is designed with larger projects in mind. Thermally broken aluminium glazing bars can also be added, and there are internal pelmet and aluminium gutter shroud options too.

“While the response to the launch of S2 has been monumentally positive, this summer’s free upgrade to grey on white is a further incentive to specify the Sheerline S2 glazed roof,” said Chris Baron, director of Prefix Systems. “There’s also the benefit of an award-winning support programme from all of our branches including Pavilion Systems, regardless of project complexity.”

Based on the proven and re-engineered K2 conservatory roof system, the S2 benefitted from a substantial research and development programme before the product was was brought to market. Find out more about the product’s development in our previously published report.
