With statistics showing that darker nights bring a 20% increase in home burglaries, retail window brand Swish Window and Door Systems is supporting National Home Security Month (NHSM) in October.
During NHSM, Swish is helping its Authorised Installers explain the benefits of high security windows and doors to homeowners with the #swishsecure social media campaign. It’s also backing customers with personalised press releases for their local newspapers, linking Swish installers to National Home Security Month.
“Swish windows and doors comply with the testing requirements for Secured by Design and being a part of NHSM is a good way to support our network of installers in promoting security to homeowners,” said Eilidh Hudson, business development manager for Swish Window and Door Systems.
Consumer brand Swish joins other well-known names as supporters of NHSM month including Yale, Screwfix, B&Q and Homebase. The campaign will run throughout October and focuses on the importance of home security during autumn and winter.
