Record first half for Lister’s

listersLister Trade Frames, based in Stoke on Trent, has reported record growth in the half year to date, with its commercial works up more than 80% compared to the same period last year.

,Lister’s primary business activity is the manufacture and supply of windows, doors and conservatories to trade installers, winning the national ‘Fabricator of the Year’ G-award three times in the last nine years along with many other awards for their work in this area.

,Mark Warren, Lister’s managing director says that while this remains the main focus of the business, the company diversified into new markets and this is now adding to their success.

,“It’s great to see our trade installation partners with full order books once again after a few lean years,” said Mark. “Lister’s continues to add new products and services for our customers and this is driving growth and we have also been very successful in growing our commercial installations business which is now delivering exceptional results.”

,Lister’s ended 2013 with a 10% rise in sales, adding more than £800,000 to its turnover and in the first six months of 2014, the company has reported a 20% increase on those 2013 results.

,“We’re really pleased with the half year results and although this has put a lot of stress on the business, we have been working very hard behind the scenes to increase our service to customers. We have a lot of new products about to launch which will give our trade customers even more opportunities to grow their businesses with us.”
