Safestyle to open new Nottingham depot creating 70 local jobs

Safestyle UK is reported to be creating around 70 new jobs in the Nottingham area, thanks to the opening of its new depot at Glaisdale Parkway in mid-December.

Once fully staffed, the company claims that the 16,000ft2 facility in Nottingham will provide extra capacity to fit 500-600 windows and doors per week.

This is the third new depot to be opened this year by Safestyle, with the other two being in Barnsley and Bury St Edmunds. Recruitment is now underway to fill the new positions in Nottingham, with available roles including managers, skilled installers, drivers, administrators and recyclers.

Steve Caves, national operations manager at Safestyle, said: “Nottingham is a great location for the new Safestyle depot and was chosen specifically because of its central location and excellent transport links. This has been a challenging year for the whole country so we’re particularly pleased to be opening our Nottingham depot just before Christmas and creating around 70 new jobs in the local economy.”
