SFS, a leading manufacturer of high-performance hinge solutions for PVC-U, composite and aluminium systems, has enhanced its sales capability by rolling out Salestracker, Insight Data’s growth platform, across its UK sales teams.
A long-standing Insight Data customer of more than 10 years, SFS is among a growing number of companies adopting a more data-driven approach to sales, combining market intelligence with advanced digital tools to drive business growth.
Nigel Wood, director of sales – hinge and fastener technology at SFS, said: “As part of a global organisation, we already operate a group-wide CRM system and historically used Insight Data purely for market information. However, with technology evolving rapidly, we’re focused on equipping our teams with the most effective tools to maximise performance.
“Salestracker not only delivers detailed market intelligence but also provides the functionality needed to identify opportunities and accelerate growth, making it a natural step to invest in dedicated team training.”
SFS undertook training at Insight Data’s 7,500ft2 training facility near Bristol, where a specialist team provides tailored onboarding, system configuration and ongoing support. The facility is also widely used by customers for regional meetings and development sessions.
Salestracker offers comprehensive insight into fabricators, installers and the wider construction sector, but is positioned as more than a traditional prospect database. Designed as a fully integrated growth platform, it supports both sales and marketing functions and can either complement or replace existing CRM systems.
Rob Sheppard, technical support executive at Insight Data, explained: “Salestracker is built to give teams actionable intelligence alongside practical tools to win new business. In SFS’s case, we configured the platform to work alongside their global CRM, ensuring their UK team benefits from greater agility while maintaining alignment with group systems.
“This approach allows them to move quickly in their local market, while still operating within a wider international framework.”
The investment highlights SFS’s commitment to adopting smarter sales technologies to improve efficiency, enhance customer targeting, and support long-term growth in the competitive construction and fenestration sectors.
