UK glazing industry stars to ‘crack America’!

RegaLead

RegaLeadMuch like the Beatles in the ‘60s, some of the UK glazing industry’s best known artists are getting set to ‘crack America’! Leading the British charge at this year’s GlassBuild America (16-18 September 2015), in Atlanta, are UK based independents including RegaLead, Thermoseal Group and The Georgian Bar Company.

Guy Hubble, joint managing director at RegaLead, commented: “GlassBuild America is always an important event in our calendar. As well as showing the international market what RegaLead has to offer, it is significant that we showcase the UK glazing industry as a whole. Visitors to Booth 522 can see for themselves our ColorSpray epoxy acrylic based paint system, which is ideal for the back painting of glass for a multitude of applications. This flexible spray paint method is equally suited to coating large areas or more intricate jobs, whilst its ColorSpray GRP counterpart is designed specifically for use on GRP, ABS and PVC surfaces to allow coating of composite door slabs, cassettes and outer frames. We will be glad to welcome anyone who would like to find out more.”

Mark Hickox, sales director at Thermoseal Group added: “We are looking forward to showcasing our Thermobar and Thermoflex highest performance warm edge spacers at GlassBuild America. This exhibition is part of Thermoseal Group’s strategy to export our industry leading, superior thermal performance spacers to the worldwide marketplace. Our ultimate goal has always been to grow from being a leading UK manufacturer and supplier into a large international player. Therefore, we are now concentrating our efforts on increasing production and gaining a share of the export market. We have recently received our largest export order to date from a manufacturer in the Far East. We also supply to other customers in United States, New Zealand, Pakistan, Korea, Taiwan, Argentina, Chile, Finland, Netherlands, Estonia, Poland, Italy, France, Hungary and Romania. Please come and see us on stand 423 at the show.”

Phil Dewhurst, commercial director at The Georgian Bar Company, concluded: “It’s great to participate in international trade shows, and our American cousins have many similarities – not just in the language, but the market and how we deal. We exhibited at GlassBuild America last year, with the intention of finding a US distributor. It’s a mark of the show’s success for us that we this year return alongside said distributor, US Profiles. Thanks to this partnership, our patented Geofast clip on astragal decorative bar system is now available to the US market, under the WinTek brand, and visitors can see it for themselves on booth 226, where we will be available to provide technical advice.”
