Vulcan fired up

Innovative products, strong marketing and technical support are said to have persuaded Hull-based fabricator, Vulcan Windows, to make the switch to Eurocell.

Operations director, Paul Walker, said: “We were impressed with the product range offered by Eurocell, particularly the Modus system. We are rapidly expanding our new build and commercial divisions and Modus supports this development due to the variety of foils and colours, coupled with the flush sash system, it offers. These are the options that housebuilders and developers are looking for.

“Eurocell has the systems, the back-up and the service that we felt were lacking in our existing supplier, especially in the new build and commercial sectors, where Eurocell has teams actively seeking developments on behalf of fabricators.”

He added that these are areas that other competing profile suppliers were not as strong on and that Eurocell shared the same perception: that there was a lot of work in both these sectors and that Eurocell had geared itself up to help its fabricators win that work.

“The Eurocell back up and infrastructure is something that will help us drive the company forwards,” he said.

The switch is already paying off, Paul said. “We found that some housebuilders only specify Eurocell so there was a lot of work we couldn’t price for yet – since we signed up with them, we’ve been invited to look at jobs we wouldn’t have had a look in before.”

Jason Bird, Eurocell national business development manager, said: “This is exactly the sort of fabricator we need to partner with to drive the growth we believe is possible in the UK market.
“The management is ambitious and not only sees the same opportunities as we do but can also deliver the premium quality we require to meet the requirements of blue-chip clients.”
