Solidor says it achieved ‘world-class’ delivery service levels of 99.2% in June.

 

The premium timber-core composite door manufacturer has invested significantly in its machinery, operations, processes, and people, in order to maintain excellent service levels while growing rapidly.

Operations director, Mike Price, said: “Delivering orders on time and in full in 99.2% of cases is a real achievement and proof that the improvements we’ve made at Solidor are working. It’s world-class service from a world-class manufacturer.”

In the last 18 months Solidor says it has made ‘significant changes’ to its systems and procedures to reduce waste in everything: materials, time, and work done. Solidor invested in additional machinery, factory and warehousing space, and streamlined workflow so the space in the factory is maximised for efficient, high quality production.
