The Balls2 Marketing agency has introduced a shake up that includes promotions, new divisional appointments and the restructure of its senior leadership team. The moves are set to drive transformational change as well as to meet a business target to double turnover and team size in three years.

As part of the agency-wide changes, founders Andy Ball and Sarah Ball are to take on joint managing director roles, focused on top-level business strategy and commercial growth. Lauren Doyle, who has risen through the ranks at the agency over the past eight years, has been promoted to client strategy director, a role aimed at delivering client service excellence as well as agency-wide team delivery.

Day-to-day, Lauren Doyle is set to work in partnership with the newest appointment to the senior leadership team, the chartered PR practitioner Katie Bregazzi. Katie joins Balls2 Marketing as operations director, a role that focuses on leadership, company culture, training and building an infrastructure to shape and propel the agency into its next ambitious phase of growth.

Sarah Ball, joint managing director, said: “Working with the newly formed leadership team, collectively we will be focused on leading the business from strength to strength based on two key factors: innovation and culture. This is a hugely exciting time for our agency, and we’re already reaping the rewards of the talent and changes we’ve recently made. We are on track to achieve the ambitious commercial targets we set for this year.”

As part of the transformational change, the agency has also made a six-figure investment into its office and team, including further promotions and hires. The renovations at its Derby HQ have seen the creation of open-plan work zones and an overhaul of its downstairs space, which now has a communal social hub, a training room and a secret bar.

Harry Morgan has been promoted to an account manager position and Emily Fox has taken on the newly created studio manager role. Both team members joined the agency as graduates from the University of Derby.

In July, the team welcomed Jack Cunnington, who joined fresh from University as a PR and content executive. Read more about Balls2Marketing online at balls2marketing.co.uk.
