Fab four

vekaWhen the VEKA UK Group recently established its Approved Installer scheme for VEKA and Halo customers, significant investment was made in promoting the initiative and making sure it offered ‘real benefits’ for installers.

,As a result, four brand new, full-time positions have been created to ensure there is a team solely dedicated to Approved Installers.

,Amy Grundy, Installer Scheme national sales manager, explained: “I’ve been working at VEKA for around seven years as an account manager for fabricators in the North and I spent a year working with Network VEKA prior to this. I’m thrilled to be taking on this exciting new challenge and using my experience to head up this initiative, which will be mutually beneficial for installers and fabricators of VEKA and Halo systems.

,“My previous role at VEKA meant that I dealt regularly with fabricators and their installers, helping develop sales leads and making sure they had everything necessary to grow their business. I’m looking forward to continuing to build on these relationships in my new role.

,“We’ve recruited a further three members of the team from outside the organisation, to focus solely on running the Approved Installer Scheme.

,“Saira Mahmood and Hannah Warr are recent graduates who will be out on the road looking after customers in the North and South respectively. They will be meeting companies and explaining the benefits of joining the Approved Installer Scheme, as well as updating them about our latest products and services.

,“Last, but not least, Christine Vincent has been taken on as our office based administrator. She’ll be on hand at all times to assist with companies wishing to become approved, or to answer any queries about the benefits of being an Approved Installer. She’ll be focussing full time on making sure everything about the scheme runs smoothly.”
