SFS intec has appointed Mike Payne as its van sales representative for the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire areas.
In the company’s newest ‘hinge van’, Mike will visit customers to deliver tools and accessories including hinges, as well as provide guidance on how to optimise the performance of SFS intec products and ensure that they meet all necessary regulations.
Sales and marketing director, Colin Yeates, said: “Mike has worked with us at SFS intec in previous years and when he accepted the offer to return to the company, we were delighted. He built up a good customer base in his earlier time with us and showed good knowledge and valuable skills in this area, so will be a welcome member of the team once again.”
Mike commented: “I last worked with SFS intec from 2005 to 2008, touring the same area that I will return to with the new van. I have received a very warm welcome from customers old and new and have experienced an incredibly positive response to the return of the hinge van. It just goes to show the level of demand for this type of first-hand support.
“I’m looking forward to developing fully into my role and am keen to return to my old stomping ground again.”
The vans offer a new approach to technical support, allowing systems suppliers, fabricators and installers to interact with SFS intec’s technical advisors face to face, bringing specialist advice right to their doorsteps.
