Kenrick’s new tech support manager

Hardware supplier Kenrick has appointed Daran Woodcock as technical support manager. Daran joins the company from The Residence Collection, where he was technical support engineer, and is celebrating 21 years in the industry this year. He has also worked in engineering and technical roles for well-known names in the industry, including Epwin, Wintech and Emplas.

Based at Kenrick’s headquarters in West Bromwich, Daran will provide technical support to Kenrick’s nationwide customer base. He will help customers with any technical queries or testing requirements and provide training on any new products, as well as be involved in new product development. Additionally, Daran will take responsibility for all of Kenrick’s BSI and PAS 24 testing.

Daran said: “I have known Kenrick for many years and have used their window and door locks, so I know that the quality of their products is second to none. When the opportunity came up to join the business I jumped at the chance. I’m looking forward to the variety of the role, and working with Kenrick’s customers to provide them with a high standard of technical support and customer service.”

Steve Williams, Kenrick’s sales and marketing director, who is due to mark 45 years in the industry this year, welcomed Daran, describing him as highly experienced. “The wealth of technical knowledge he brings will really help us to bolster the service we provide to customers,” said Steve. “Daran will play a pivotal role in new product development too, and we have many exciting new developments in the pipeline that he will be involved in.”
