Thermoseal Group employs export manager

Thermoseal GroupDietmar Maginot has been appointed as export manager to spearhead Thermoseal Group’s expansion into the international market and increase its share of warm edge business. Dietmar’s resume includes nine years as head of technical service at Kömmerling, seven years as sales manager at Profilglass and a further seven years as sales director of t-si-i.de GmbH.
 
Gwain Paterson, Thermoseal Group’s managing director, commented: “We have a clear and ambitious strategy whereby we want to further establish our own UK manufactured warm edge products in the international market place. Having invested heavily in research, development and production facilities to increase our manufacturing output, we are now in a position to develop our international sales whilst simultaneously ensuring that UK manufactured IG glass components are represented globally.
 
“Dietmar Maginot has an extensive contact network throughout Europe that is sure to prove invaluable in driving Thermoseal Group’s international sales forward.”

 
Dietmar had the following to say when asked about his new role at Thermoseal Group:

I was highly influenced when I visited the Wigan production site as the production equipment and the test and research facilities were all state of the art. This demonstrated a determination to not just manufacture products, but to do so at a high quality level. I was keen to join Thermoseal Group in its continuing success story and to use my knowledge of the industry in Europe to help it become a leading supplier beyond the UK market.”
