Solidor’s showing off again!

solidiorFollowing its ‘dazzling display’ of composite door innovation at the FIT Show, Solidor is turning its attentions to Grand Designs Live later this year, along with the inaugural Build Show in 2015.

,Solidor exhibited at Grand Designs Live in 2013 and was reportedly the first company to sign up for the 2014 event, given that more than 50,000 visitors came through the doors at Birmingham’s NEC. Last year the company distributed 4,500 leaflets, replicating the front of an iPhone, to encourage homeowners to download the latest Solidor Door Designer app for iPhone and iPad.

,This year’s Grand Designs Live will again be held at the NEC and Solidor says it will have a ‘large presence’ on stand B699. The company will be looking to build upon its G13 award-winning retail marketing campaign, which recently saw the launch of a new augmented reality (AR) app, new YouTube videos and a Door Designer feature on the Solidor website.

,As at the end of July, Solidor reported 26,323 website visits and 2,726 enquiries from consumers looking for a better composite door. All the enquiries have been passed on to Solidor’s Recommended and Premium installer network of 452 companies across the UK.

,While there will be no FIT Show in 2015, there will be the Build Show, from the same organising team, which is aimed at the wider building and construction industry. Solidor will be appearing front of house, on a 60m2 island. The Build Show will take place from 28-30 April 2015 at the NEC, Birmingham.

,Gareth Mobley, managing director of Solidor Group, commented: “We’re one of just a few companies that can boast a truly effective retail and trade marketing campaign and exhibitions form very much part of the overall strategy. It’s the perfect platform for consumers and the trade to experience the unique features of our composite doors and our customer focused culture.”
