BM’s gone to Iceland

Business Micros

Business MicrosBusiness Micros claims its reputation is now reaching ‘even the farthest flung corners of Europe’, after and Iceland based customer recently signed up to use its Evolution software.

PGV Futureform, which has fabricated frames in the Deceuninck 2500 system since it was set up in 2010, contacted Business Micros via the software specialist’s website because it was unhappy with its existing manufacturing software, and the team responded with an online demonstration of Evolution using the 2500 master data suite.

PGV placed an order almost immediately and Business Micros’ installation team carried out the installation remotely, providing the first level of training via Skype.

Sales manager Chris Bailey and managing director Graeme Bailey, then flew out to Iceland earlier this month to help PGV with further product training and bespoke adaptations to the software.

Graeme Bailey said: “We have literally gone the extra mile for PGV – travelling across to see them and setting up tailored costs and manufacturing times for them in the software. We even made time while we were there to source a part via our contacts in the UK for one of their welding machines which had been idle for almost five months.”

Understandably, PGV are delighted with the service they have received and sales director Heidar Kristinsson said: “Business Micros’ Evolution software is already helping us with efficiencies and allowing us to produce professional looking quotations. Now we have the Evolution platform to build on, we can press ahead with our long term plans to increase our market share in Iceland and further enhance our reputation for offering the best products and service in the country.”
