Online quotations on the rise

The Garage Door Company

The Garage Door Company The Garage Door Company has reported more than 4,000 online quotations over a two-year period, with figures expected to reach 5,000 by year end, after it implemented an online lead generator from digital specialist, The Consultancy.

The Consultancy, which has over 10 years’ experience working in the industry, is encouraging more companies to look beyond creating an aesthetically pleasing website, to how a linked online system can maximise lead generation.

Richie Thornton, director of The Consultancy, said: “More and more companies are creating trade-specific portals on their websites. This allows the tradesman to not only generate customer-ready quotes but also access live pricing and place orders for products.

“This takes out time-consuming steps in the selling process and also maximises efficiency, letting the tradesman monitor and keep track of any leads.”

One company which has recently launched its new lead generation system is Lancashire Double Glazing, which has a new mobile responsive website and product configurator tailored specifically to its needs by The Consultancy.

Alongside The Garage Door Company and Lancashire Double Glazing, some of the industry’s key players are also said to be reaping the rewards, including composite door company Solidor.
Richie added: “The benefits of selling online are limitless and the clients are always delighted when they see the results.

“The online system we’ve designed ensures that traders are provided with the correct tools to sell business to the consumer and log that information. The speed and ease of the process also adds to this, making the whole process more streamlined.”

Joe Martoccia, managing director of Solidor, said: “The online system we’ve developed alongside The Consultancy has ensured that although we only sell business to business, we are giving our traders the correct tools to sell efficiently to consumers and log that information.”

The Consultancy has already celebrated a successful year reporting an increase in profits and expanding its headquarters. Richie continued: “Although we’ve filled two high-skilled positions in the past month, we are still on a recruitment drive to add to our dynamic team. We are committed to ensuring the window and door industry is up to speed with the digital age and would urge anyone interested to get in contact with us.”
