The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) stated that it is expanding its offering to extend the service it provides to its members and the wider industry.

BFRC is under the leadership of a new management team, which includes managing director Richard Sellman and technical director Richard Bate.

Richard Sellman said: “It’s exciting times at BFRC. Our newly established team is working on widening the scope of our service offering in line with the growing demands on the performance and quality of windows and doors the market now requires. We’re also working on overhauling the brand, with our refreshed logo and a new look website coming soon.

“With ongoing debates on Part L and other Building Regulation requirements, the new look BFRC, which combines the organisation’s longstanding heritage with the teams wide-ranging expertise, will be well placed to help enable the industry to comply with future requirements.

“As standards continue to evolve, testing and certification remain hot topics, which is why we are extending our position as the industry-focussed, independent, collaborative certification partner. 2024 will see a diversification of our service offering. We will soon be delivering our new look BFRC rebrand that includes a new website with extended member functionality.

Richard Bate added: “Richard and I are excited about what 2024 has in store for BFRC. We have ambitious plans to revamp the BFRC offering and provide our clients with services that enable them to meet their compliance and regulatory requirements. It’s an exciting time ahead and we look forward to sharing more news on developments as and when we can.”
