Carl F Groupco successful in Tai Tarian tender

Hardware distributor Carl F Groupco has secured a contract to continue full hardware supply to Tai Tarian, one of the largest social housing providers in Wales. Tai Tarian is responsible for more than 9,000 properties in the Neath Port Talbot county borough, and is the only housing association in Wales to manufacturer PVC windows and doors for its own properties, leaseholders and external clients. All are fabricated to Secured by Design and PAS 24 security standards, and provide Energy Rating Scheme certification.

Carl F Groupco has supplied Tai Tarian with window and door hardware for the past five years, and recently secured the contract for another three to five years. The company has a proven record in supplying large-scale projects and, as one of the only major independently owned distributors in the UK, its access to hardware brands including Cotswold, Fuhr, Hoppe, Kenrick, Rapier Star, Roto and Yale was key to securing the contract.

Steve Meredith, production manager for Tai Tarian, said: “Aside from the product range and delivery service, a big reason for Carl F Groupco being awarded the tender is down to its customer service levels. It’s been exceptional.”

John Crittenden, Carl F Groupco’s managing director, said: “I’m immensely proud of the team for their efforts over the past five years working on this contract. It goes to show how important our emphasis on exceptional service is to our customers. We look forward to working with Tai Tarian over the coming years.”

Carl F Groupco supplies a full range of window and door hardware to Tai Tarian, including Yale Lockmaster door locks, Platinum three-star cylinders, Sparta window handles, Hoppe Tokyo and Birmingham door handles, Kenrick Centurion shootbolt espagnolettes, Roto door hinges, Cotswold friction stays and Rapier Star screws. Carl F Groupco also supports Tai Tarian’s Community Benefit Scheme, donating to projects including biodiversity schemes, outdoor learning facilities and community support projects.
