Charity golf day’s a sell-out

GM Fundraising

GM FundraisingThe launch of the 13th GM Fundraising Golf Day, due to take place on 9th July at Hellidon Lakes in Daventry, has been hailed as ‘another astounding success’.

Within 24 hours, the ever-popular event sold out. Gary Morton, founder of GM Fundraising said: “The uptake for this year’s event has been phenomenal. We are now oversubscribed to the point where we may have to extend it to another day. We are always so grateful to our supporters and are looking forward to hosting this great event.”

The Hellidon Lakes boasts a challenging course for even the most competent golfer, with 6187 yards of championship golf over 18 holes (plus an additional valley with nine holes) and many water features and hazards. But it’s not just about the golf, there is more fun to be had in the evening with dinner, auctions and presentations.

“Last year’s golf day raised just over £9,000 for the Hope House Children’s Hospices,” continued Gary, “and a great day in the sunshine was had by all. We’d love to top that achievement this year and based on the generosity we have seen from our friends and colleagues in the industry for all our previous efforts and events, I don’t think that will be a problem.”
