Coastal partners with Tommy Trinder

Tommy Trinder, pioneers of the Installer-Award winning Framepoint technology, has teamed up with specialist ironmongery manufacturer Coastal, to showcase Coastal’s BLU range of window and door hardware to homeowners on the Framepoint app. “Upselling just happens when it’s quick and easy to show off premium features,” said Chris Brunsdon, Tommy Trinder’s founder and CEO. “Being able to touch and instantly show client’s how different a window looks when fitted with an upgraded Coastal BLU fastener, as opposed to a standard PVC handle, helps Framepoint subscribers stand out from the crowd and sell more.”

“We’re thrilled to be part of the Tommy Trinder story,” said Loren Jenner, Coastal’s managing director. “Adding Coastal BLU fittings provides a relatively low cost way to dramatically enhance the look and feel of your windows and doors and set you apart from the competition. The Framepoint platform allows installers to demonstrate this value instantly, at the touch of a button. It’s a real wow!”

Over 50 products from Coastal’s range are now available to show off on Framepoint. As well as a range of traditional fittings, the collection includes contemporary pieces such as Coastal’s stainless steel window handles and bar, rectangle and bow handles for entrance doors, sliders and bi-folds.

“It’s the perfect partnership,” added Chris. “Framepoint already makes it easy to sell premium features such as foils, dual colour, dummy vents, mechanical joints, flush casements, surface mounted bars, deep timber-look cills. The addition of Coastal’s stand out hardware completes the piece.”
