Does your face FIT?

fitThe organisers of this year’s FIT Show are giving visitors the opportunity be ‘the face of the FIT Show’.

Looking for fabricators and installers who believe that they are good examples of their profession, the FIT Show is encouraging these ‘exemplar industry folk’ to send in ‘selfies’ (photographs of themselves taken on a mobile device) in a movie-type situation or pose, together with three bullet points about why they should be the ‘Face of the FIT Show’.

Entries should be uploaded to the FIT Show Twitter account (@FitShow) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/fitshowuk). The organisers emphasise that entrants should be sure to capture their work environment, ‘but with an exciting movie twist; Think action. Think comedy. Think Hollywood.’

Perhaps you’d like to recreate your favourite movie poster replacing guns with drills. Or maybe you’d like to catch a still whilst acting out an iconic movie moment. The choice is yours.

Entries will be considered by a panel of experts and the winners will then be photographed by a professional photographer and used in the advertising campaign in the run up to the FIT Show in June this year. Whoever takes first place will also see their photograph appear on the front cover of the official catalogue that will be distributed to as many as 8,000 visitors to the FIT Show.

The top three winners will also receive two tickets to the FIT Show’s Gala Dinner, hosted by stand-up comic and ventriloquist, Nina Conti.

The competition will run from February 10th – March 10th. All information and rules of entry can be found on the FIT Show website at www.fitshow.co.uk
